The Cheektowaga Youth Foundation, along with the Boys and Girls Club committee, announced it has secured the funding needed to open and operate the club. The necessary funding is a collaboration of town, state, and private donotions. The new site for the Boys and Girls Club will be located at the Alexander Community Center. The opening date is scheduled for September 2021.
The founding sponsors recognized at Tuesday’s ceremony are:

- Christopher Schunk of Lake Effect Furniture
- Dave Gordon of Dave’s Christmas Wonderland
- Timothy Bunch of Majestic Pools
The Town of Cheektowaga and NYS Assemblywoman Monica Wallace were also instrumental in ensuring the club’s opening.
